Theme markets in the Borough
This section provides information about theme markets.
Theme markets regularly visit the Borough to add an extra splash of colour to our town centres.
Farmers Markets
People love the rustic treats provided by the Farmers Markets which visit the towns every month. The stall-holders are farmers from the local area, and they offer a feast of fresh, good quality, locally grown produce.
Shoppers like the sights, sounds and smells of the market and of course the produce, while local traders enjoy the increase in shoppers it brings to the town.
- Opening hours - 9am-2pm
- When they visit
- Redhill, every 2nd Friday of the month
- Reigate, every 4th Friday of the month
French & Italian Markets
Since the introduction of French & Italian Markets over 10 years ago the Council has tried to attract these type of markets into the Borough from time to time.
In the last three years the Council has found it increasingly more difficult to attract these markets. The lack of custom and rising petrol and food costs have all led to increased difficulties in booking operators.
There are currently no plans to hold these themed markets within the Borough in the foreseeable future.
