Planning Obligations and Infrastructure SPD
This page is about the Planning Obligations and Infrastructure Supplementary Planning Document (SPD).
On 24 April 2008 the Council's Executive approved the Planning Obligations and Infrastructure Supplementary Planning Document (SPD). The SPD provides detailed formal guidance to help developers understand the improved planning obligation procedure. The SPD contains detail about what infrastructure contributions are required to facilitate new development in the Borough.
Calculator
The calculator illustrates the total amount payable for a proposed development including the legal fee for the associated unilateral undertaking. The legal fee must be paid to the Council in advance on submission of the planning application, if your application is approved the remaining balance (minus the legal fee) is payable on commencement of development.
