The Council introduced new car parking charges in February 2007.
The demand for spaces has significantly increased in these two towns and finding an available space is proving difficult at some times of the day.
The Council is trying to encourage long-term commuter parkers to use alternative means of travel to work. This will free up space and improve accessibility to the towns for shoppers and visitors.
