Wimbledon Fortnight

This section provides information on a day out watching the tennis during Wimbledon fortnight, and the delights of the Wimbledon tennis museum.

Seven miles from the northern tip of the Borough and 15 miles from the centre is the All England Tennis Club - home to the most famous tennis Championships in the world.

During Wimbledon Fortnight you can watch the world's greatest players on the courts formerly graced by legends such as Borg, McEnroe, Becker, Navratilova and Graf.

You can book your tickets through the Wimbledon website or use the address below.

And you shouldn't be put off from visiting Wimbledon out of season either. Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum offers a great visit in itself.

You can see how the original medieval real tennis became the popular multi-million pound professional sport it has become.

There is an art gallery to browse around and memorabilia from many famous players. The museum includes a state of the art Audio/Visual theatre showing highlights of famous players in action.
