A day out at the football

This section provides information and advice about getting around the Borough and beyond to witness some exciting fooball matches.

Some of London's most famous football teams are within easy travelling distance of the Borough.

To the north east is Crystal Palace, known as the Eagles. The first division side's Selhurst Park stadium is just a 40 minute drive away from the centre of the Borough.

Alternatively you can take a train into central London and take your pick of Premiership matches involving giants such as ArsenalChelsea and Tottenham.

If you would prefer to head south you can visit Brighton and Hove Albion, who play in the lower divisions.

Brighton is easily accessible by train from Redhill station or via the M23 by car.

For a full list of London football clubs see the Visit London website.
