Thomas the Tank Engine and Bluebell Railway

This section provides information about Thomas the Tank Engine and Bluebell Railway.

The Bluebell Line was the UK's first preserved standard gauge passenger railway, saving for posterity a country branch line, its steam locomotives, coaches and goods stock, signalling systems, stations and operating practices.

Since then it has become one of the largest tourist attractions in Sussex.

Visitors, young and old can take a trip down through the ages on these magnificent locomotives.

Thomas the Tank Engine visits the Bluebell Line, so if you are a fan, you can check to see when his next visit is.

To check details for Santa's Special please contact the Bluebell Railway directly.
