Outwood Windmill is the oldest working windmill in Britain.
Built in 1665 by Thomas Budgen, a miller from Nutfield, the Grade I listed structure is a popular attraction and has been the subject of a number of television programmes.
Within the grounds of the windmill are friendly animals, as well as hens, ducks, geese, owls and other birds.
The original cowshed now houses a museum.
There is also a play area for small children.
The surrounding area is National Trust common land and woodland where you can enjoy picnics and walks.
The surrounding area includes many good local pubs and inns where you can stop for refreshments as part of a good day out.
