Paragliding and Hang Gliding

This section provides information for flying enthusiasts about paragliding & hang gliding school - Green Dragons.

Green Dragons paragliding & hang gliding school was established in 1974 and is currently led by Senior BHPA Paragliding Instructor, Andy Shaw, British & International Paragliding Accuracy Champion for 1999 & 2000.

Green Dragons has been involved in the development of Paragliding, Hang Gliding and Parascending, and is continuously expanding skills in teaching and training methods to give the best results.

Many of today's paragliding schools and clubs are run by former Green Dragons students.

The club holds fundays which offer people the opportunity to grab some friends and take a paragliding dual flight with one of their BHPA Licensed Instructors.

Alternatively beginners can learn to fly solo at the school's paragliding and hang gliding training courses.

There are also cross country flying weekends for advanced and club Pilots. Evening lectures are organised on flying techniques, air law and meteorology.
