Thursday Afternoon Tea Dance
This section provides information about the regular afternoon tea dance held at the Woodhatch Centre.
We are a happy and friendly group of dancers, meeting each Thursday afternoon at 1.45pm.
We play a wide variety of music to dance to from Ballroom dances to Party sambas.
Once or twice a year we hold an evening event with a live band or disco and a buffet.
At Easter we all make hats and have an Easter bonnet parade and prizes are awarded.
We make the most of having an excuse for a party afternoon, perhaps to celebrate a special birthday or anniversary with wine and cake!
No partner? It doesn't matter (we might even find you one) as long as you come to enjoy yourself!
Too old? No you're not, we have several dancers over eighty years old and one couple who have celebrated sixty years of marriage!
