Active Retirement Group
This section provides information about the Active Retirement Group (ARG)
The Active Retirement Group, or ARG as they are known, meet from 10am - 11.30pm on Monday mornings in the Dining Room and do about 1 hour of mainly seated exercises followed by a well earned cup of coffee and chat.
Our teacher is a qualified 'Extend' teacher and when not teaching classes runs Training Courses for new teachers in Surrey.
Extend is a registered charity and aims to provide recreational movement to music for the over 60's and for less able people of any age.
The exercises are aimed at increasing mobility and improving strength, stamina, posture and co-ordination.
