Disabled Access in the Borough
This section is intended to help people looking for information about disabled access in the Borough.
The Borough Council is examining disabled access within its four main town centres of Redhill, Reigate, Banstead and Horley.
A Review Panel of the Council's Overview and Scrutiny Committee has been established to examine the level of access around the town centres and in to public buildings such as shops and health centres.
The Review Panel is holding a series of public meetings as part of its work and wants to hear from as many members of the community and interested groups as possible about the quality of access in our town centres for the disabled community.
The Panel will also take ‘evidence’ from our key politicians and decision takers.
This is an exciting opportunity for the community to be involved in the work of the Council and we would welcome your involvement and input.
The Panel will conclude its findings in a report that will be
presented to the Council’s Executive and possibly to other
decision makers such as the County Council.
