The Council strives to provide the best possible service to its residents.
Your Benefits enquiries are handled by our Benefits Services team.
What can you expect from Benefits services?
We are committed to providing an efficient, courteous and helpful service.
We will aim to:
- Process all claims within 14 days of getting all the information we need, (in 2006 we processed 96.65% of claims within 14 days).
- Answer your calls promptly.
- Reply to your letters within five working days.
- Offer you private interviews.
- Arrange home visits if you are unable to get to the benefit office.
- Continually strive to improve our service to you.
