We are not selling the old sacks after 30 September 2008. We will still be collecting these old sacks up to the 17 October but you will need to notify us 24 hours in advance of your normal collection day, if you need old sacks collected.

About the new Garden Waste
Service
- This service will provide fortnightly collections from the edge of your property or communal bin area or collection point.
- One annual fee of £29* for a brown 240 litre bin** when paid for by Direct Debit (you can have up to six bins at £29 each).
- The fee pays for the service and the bin remains the property of Reigate & Banstead Borough Council.
- If you only generate a small amount of garden waste then why not consider sharing a bin with neighbours. Or, request a reuseable garden waste sack instead of a bin for £15* a year.
- Payment is by Direct Debit which can be arranged online or over the phone at the time of joining. An additional charge of £5 is made for alternative forms of payment. Read the full details on the Garden Waste Service fees page.
* In year 2 the fee will increase to £34 for a bin, £18 for a garden waste sack.
** If your refuse is collected in pre-printed black refuse sacks provided by the Council there will be a three-bag alternative to the garden waste bin.
