This section gives information on how and where to make cheque payments.
Payments by post
Cheques
Cheques should be crossed and made payable to Reigate & Banstead Borough Council and sent to:

Please put your council tax account reference number on the reverse of the cheque.
Post-dated cheques are not acceptable.
Payments at a Bank
Complete a bank giro slip (included with your bill) and present it with your payment at any bank.
The bank may make a charge if it is not your own bank.
A fee will not be charged at a branch of Natwest within the borough boundary.
The council tax account reference number shown on your bill must be quoted on each payment slip.
Payments at a Post Office
Payment may be made using the Transcash facility.
Please quote Giro account 3016129 and your council tax account reference number, name and address.
A fee will be charged for this service. Please allow 7 working days.
