Payment information for council tax

This section gives information on how and where you can pay council tax.

Council tax is payable over ten months from 1 April to 1 January or by one annual payment on 1 April or two six-monthly payments on 1 April and 1 October.

Payment can be made by the following methods:

Direct Debit

• Direct Debit page.       

Bacs Transfer 

• Bacs Transfer page.       

Debit Card

• Debit card page.   

Cheque at a Bank or Post Office 

• Paying by cheque page.
