Membership

Councillors T.D. Stoddart (Chairman), M.A. Brunt, S.A. Kulka, M.J. Selby, and a vacancy.

Remit

To consider the outcome of the Audit Commission's Re-inspection Report on the Planning Service in relation to the operation of the Planning Committee.

Scoping Report

The attached report indicates the aims and objectives of the work of the Panel, its projected outcomes, corporate governance issues and the proposed timetable for its work.

Current Position

The Panel has agreed its Scoping Report and is currently collecting evidence from research and witnesses before it draws its conclusions and makes its recommendations.
