Horley Masterplan funded highway improvements get underway
Developer contributions have been taken as part of the Horley Masterplan to fund a series of improvements to the cycle and pedestrian facilities across the town as well as towards traffic calming and junction improvements. This is to ensure the two new neighbourhoods are well connected to local facilities and services and the traffic impact is minimised.
Surrey County Council's highway contractor for Horley, FM Conway, will be carrying out these works on a phased basis over the next few years. Works are starting initially in Station Approach.
Notification of this and other planned highway works in the area are available on Roadworks information (Surrey County Council website, opens in new window).
