This section describes the Council's strategic approach to service delivery in Reigate and Banstead and explains the Council's priorities and objectives.
To provide the best possible service to the community on an ongoing basis, it is vital that the Council takes a consistent strategic approach based on a clear set of aims and objectives.
The Council's decision-making is supported by a framework of plans and policies which reflect our corporate priorities.
The foundation for the Council's plans and policies are the Community Plan and the Local Plan. The Local Plan is shortly due to be replaced by the Local Development Framework.
The Council has adopted a Corporate Plan which sets out our priorities for the next 3 years. These priorities have been developed from a variety of evidence including census information, legislative requirements and consultations, including our annual public opinion survey.
