The Community Plan

The Community Plan has recently been reviewed and a new plan is now available.
Background
The Local Strategic Partnership approved the first Community Plan for the Borough in September 2003. The majority of the actions in the first Plan have now been delivered so this new Plan has been developed.
The plan sets out the community's vision and aims for the next 12 years.
It contains a summary of needs and priorities for the future with clear targets and actions so that progress can be monitored.
The aim is to promote the economic, social and environmental well-being of residents as well as those who work and visit the Borough.
The plan covers the four priority areas. These have been identified through working with residents and partner organisations:
- Your Environment
- Neighbourhoods for the Future
- Vibrant Communities
- The Right Services in the Right Places
