Consultations

Fear of crime survey

This section provides information about the Fear of Crime survey run in the Borough.

The Borough Council is committed to consulting with our residents on a variety of issues.

This section provides information about the Council's Fear of Crime consultation.

Consultation overview

The Council sought the views of as many residents' opinions as possible on how safe they feel within the borough, via an online questionnaire, questionnaires in Help Shops and via our Community Liaison team.

Who consulted?

Reigate and Banstead Crime and Disorder Partnership; A partnership of Surrey County Council, Surrey Police, Reigate and Banstead Housing Trust and Reigate and Banstead Borough Council.

Why did we consult?

We want to know how safe you, as a resident, feel in the Borough, both for yourself and your property.

This is a way you can help us to tackle local problems more effectively. We are committed to working together to keep this Borough a safe and pleasant place to live and work, but cannot do it without the active support of local residents.

Who was consulted?

Residents in the Borough of Reigate and Banstead.

When did the consultation take place?

 February 2004 - April 2004
