You can read more about the draft report and download a copy on the air quality reviews page.

Who consulted?

The Environmental Health Services, Reigate and Banstead Borough Council.

Why did we consult?

To keep people informed of what has happened since our last consultation in 2001.

This report will help inform the air quality action plan for Horley, which will detail measures to reduce concentrations of nitrogen dioxide in the Horley air quality management area.

The Council wrote to all 1,549 homes within the affected area, and also consulted with BAA Gatwick, DEFRA and surrounding Borough Councils and the Mayor of London.

Other residents were also welcome to comment on the report and these could be sent in writing to the Air Quality officer at the Council.

June – 1 September 2004
