BVPI general users satisfaction survey
The Borough Council is committed to consulting with our residents on a variety of issues. This section provides information about the Council's General User Satisfaction consultation.
Consultation overview
The BVPI (Best Value Performance Indicators) General User Satisfaction survey was sent out to selected residents within the Borough.
This meant we could get a comprehensive cross section of views from residents in all areas of the Borough on how our services and borough are perceived.
Who did we consult?
2,200 randomly selected households. We received 1,329 replies, a 60% response rate.
Why did we consult?
The results from our survey, along with those of all the other councils, will be pulled together, so we can benchmark our performance nationally in terms of residents' satisfaction.
The survey allows us to see where residents priorities lie and how we are meeting them, so we can ensure residents priorities are Council priorities.
What were the key findings?
We gained a good understanding of respondents key priorities and what residents were happy with and what they felt most needed improving within the Borough.
In terms of services which most need improving there is a strong Highways and transport focus with Road and Pavement Repairs, Traffic congestion and Public Transport all appearing in the top 5 services which most need improving.
