Reigate Garden of Remembrance
This section contains information about the Reigate Garden of Remembrance and the scale of fees.
The Reigate Garden of Remembrance was designed in 1951 specifically for the placement of cremated remains. Situated in a peaceful setting just minutes from Reigate town centre, the site was originally the garden of remembrance for the Northover Funeral Home. When Northover & Sons Funeral Directors closed in 1978 responsibility for the garden transferred to Reigate & Banstead Borough Council.
The Reigate Garden of Remembrance comprises of six separate lawns featuring rose beds and fine ornamental trees. This beautiful garden is popular with visitors many of whom frequently return to visit the resting place of their loved one, to tend memorials, leave flowers or simply to feel comforted.
The choice of memorials range from traditional rose beds to memorial plaques and tablets in a variety of different sizes and materials.
The Reigate Garden of Remembrance is permanently open to visitors.
