Preston Regeneration SPD
This section is intended to help people looking for information about the Preston Regeneration draft Supplementary Planning Document (SPD).
This draft SPD contains extra guidance to enable the regeneration of Preston. It sets out the main principles for improving the Preston area:
- Improving open spaces and the streetscene
- Revitalising the heart of the community
- Improving movement and accessibility; and
- Creating sustainable development.
It also contains proposals for specific sites and areas and for the main project opportunities. It also has information on the implementation and funding of some of the proposals.
The draft SPD builds on a masterplanning process undertaken over the last couple of years. The masterplan was developed with extensive involvement of local people and a range of local stakeholders and organisations.
Formal public consultation on this draft SPD has now closed. The full document and other associated documentation is available to download below.
