Health and Safety

The Council uses the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) as a mechanism for ensuring the suitability of contractors requesting the opportunity to be considered for the council's building, mechanical and electrical projects.

Contractors will also need to sign up to our Safe Code of Practice before working on our sites.
