Core Strategy Examination

Please note that the hearing session scheduled for Wednesday 24th February will no longer take place.
The Inspector's reason for cancelling the last hearing for Issue 3A, Strategy Layout and Key Diagram; Issue 10, Implementation & Monitoring and Issue 11, Other Matters, is as follows;
“The Inspector has previously indicated that he would seek the cancellation of these sessions if his report were likely to be recommending withdrawal of the Core Strategy, since there would then be no purpose served by holding these sessions which are primarily concerned with presentational and subsidiary matters. The Inspector considers that this is the likely outcome.”
The Core Strategy Examination has now therefore finished and the Inspector is currently preparing his report. This is expected to be received by the first week in April 2010.
