This section provides planning application forms which you can download, print off and submit to the council.
Planning application fees
Planning application fees have increased by 15% on 22 November 2012 in line with the Government's national increase in planning fees. Please check with us if you are in any doubt about the correct fee to pay.
The fee schedule is available by clicking on the application form links below.
Please provide the following
We will validate all applications against the relevant National and Local List (PDF document [647.4Kb]) requirements.
Please provide the original application and three further copies of each document and plan.
All drawings and plans should be dated and numbered with any revised versions identified.

Householder application forms
- householder application for planning permission for works or extension to a dwelling
- householder application for planning permission for works or extension to a dwelling and conservation area consent
- householder application for planning permission for works or extension to a dwelling and listed building consent for alterations, extension or demolition of a listed building
Full planning applications
- application for planning permission
- approval of details reserved by a condition
- planning permission and listed building consent for alterations, extension or demolition of a listed building
- planning permission and conservation area consent for demolition in a conservation area
Reserved matters and removal of conditions
- approval of reserved matters following outline approval
- removal or variation of a condition following grant of planning permission
Outline applications
- outline planning permission with all matters reserved

Advertisement
- Planning permission and consent to display an advertisement(s)
- Consent to display an advertisement(s)
Lawful Development Certificates
- Lawful Development Certificate for an existing use or operation or activity including those in breach of a planning condition
- Lawful Development Certificate for a proposed use or development
Prior notifications
- Prior notification of proposed development in respect of permitted development by telecommunications code systems operators
- Prior notification of proposed demolition
Prior notifications of agricultural or forestry development
- Prior notification of proposed agricultural or forestry development - Proposed building
- Prior notification of proposed agricultural of forestry development - Excavation waste material

Conservation and heritage
- Hedgerow removal notice
- Tree works - Works to trees subject to a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) and/or Notification of proposed works to trees in conservation areas
- Conservation area consent for demolition in a conservation area
- Listed building consent for alterations, extension or demolition of a listed building
Amendment or replacement
- application for non-material amendment following a grant of planning permission
- application for a new planning permission to replace an extant planning permission, associated listed building or conservation area consents in order to extend the time limit for implementation.
