Building work inspection
This section provides information and advice about work inspections.
The person carrying out the work must contact the Local Authority 48 hours prior to starting the work.
The surveyor will call to inspect the stages of work and comment accordingly.
Notes are kept by the surveyor in our files and will be referred back to on subsequent visits.
The surveyors will be glad to advise on any regulation matters and can also be contacted in the office, however, they will not be able to design for you, as our role is a checking one and we must remain neutral.
Requests for inspections can be written or by telephone/fax and we may be able to visit on the same day if contacted before 10.00am.
