Weekly update - 7 February 2011

This week’s update focuses on opportunities and things to do for young people in the borough, from our youth activity programme to The Harlequin Theatre and Cinema.

The Council provides a large range of activities, events and facilities for young people to enjoy throughout the year, these include:

We maintain more than 70 parks and 34 children's play areas, including skate parks. The borough has three sports centres, located in Horley, Redhill and Banstead, with a wide variety of activities and services for all ages.

Things to do during the holidays

We organise a youth activity programme over the school holidays in February, Easter, summer and October.

From Monday 21 to Friday 25 February 2011, 8 to 15 year olds can take part in exciting activities including indoor rock climbing, trampolining, a film animation workshop and non-contact boxing.

To sign up for our half term activities, contact Sue Sergeant, Leisure Development Officer, on 01737 276700 or email leisure.services@reigate-banstead.gov.uk

Our leisure centres also have a holiday activity programme. To find out more, visit the leisure centre pages.
