The Mayor and Mayoress of Reigate and Banstead, Cllr Richard Mantle and Mrs Ruth Mantle, are inviting residents and local businesses to join them for a fundraising coffee morning in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care.
The event takes place in the Old Council Chamber at the Town Hall, Reigate from 10.00am to 12.00pm on Tuesday 13 April 2010.
Homemade cakes
In exchange for a £4.00 donation guests can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, along with a selection of delicious homemade cakes, baked by the Mayoress.
The Deputy Mayoress, Cllr Mrs Jill Bray, will give a demonstration on making hand-tied flower arrangements, which she has done in the past at the Chelsea Flower Show.

There will also be a raffle with prizes donated by generous local businesses, and representatives from Marie Curie will be selling their daffodil pin badges.
All proceeds will go to Marie Curie to help them provide more free nursing care to cancer patients and those with other terminal illnesses in the comfort of their own homes.
