Active Surrey
This page provides information on Active Surrey, a partnership to help young people play sport in Reigate and Banstead and across the county.
Active Surrey is one of 49 County Sports Partnerships in England. Their vision is to make Surrey a more active and successful sporting county. Reigate and Banstead Borough Council is part of the partnership.
Active Surrey's main aim is to help young people (aged 10-16) get more from their involvement in sport and encourage participation at quality local sports clubs.
Active Surrey involves Surreys clubs, local authorities, education services, schools and sports governing bodies, all working in partnership to give young people local opportunities for participation, competition and skills improvement in a child-friendly and safe environment.
Discounted training for coaches
Active Surrey provides discounted training courses and workshops for coaches and club officials to develop their knowledge.
