London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games
This summer there will be opportunities to watch and get involved in sporting history in Surrey. This page explains how the games affect our borough.
Olympic Torch Relay
On 20 July 2012 we are proud to announce that the Olympic Flame will be coming through Redhill and Reigate. Please see our Olympic Torch Relay page for the full street level route and more information.

Cycling
The Olympic Games are coming to Surrey:
Olympic Road Cycling Races
These races will start and finish on The Mall in central London and will include several laps of Box Hill.
- Saturday 28 July - men's cycle road races
- Sunday 29 July - women's cycle road races
Olympic Time Trial Race
This race will start and finish at Hampton Court Palace and will include Esher, Cobham and Hersham.
- Wednesday 1 August - men's and women's races.
In order to secure the race routes there will be road closures. More information about locations and timing of road closures will be released nearer the time.

P&G Surrey School Games
In addition, the P&G Surrey School Games will give over 2,500 young people the opportunity to take part in high quality sports competition across the county.
