Town and Down Circular Walk
This page is about the Town and Down Circular Walk, a circular walk which is one of the our special Millennium Trails collection of walks
This walk takes you from the former site of a mustard magnate's house and 
gardens to Banstead Downs.
Much of this walk takes you across chalk grassland - a rare and wildlife-rich habitat created by he early farmers, who removed the origianl woodland cover to create fields for their crops and livestocks.
