Councillors’ Community Awards
Reigate & Banstead Borough Councillors have £25,500, £500 per councillor, to award to projects that support the council's priorities:
Councillors can choose to support projects by making a single award, divide their allocation among a number of projects or combine their award with other councillors, but they must distribute the money within their ward.
Each award is intended to be a one off payment and successful projects will not be eligible to be considered in the following year. Partnership funding is encouraged but it is not essential to secure support.
Councillors can issue awards throughout the year from June until the 30 November as long as they still have funds available.
Ideas for projects welcome
If you have an idea for a project or an existing scheme that supports any of the council's priorities contact your local councillor to discuss your idea.
