The combined team of police and council officers will work more closely together to provide a quicker, more visible and more robust response to those causing persistent nuisance, making Reigate and Banstead an even better place to live, work and visit.

How we work

The team is made up of Police Officers from the Reigate & Banstead Safer Neighbourhood Team and our staff with enforcement powers, including Borough Community Officers, Environmental Health Officers, Civil Enforcement Officers (Traffic Wardens) and Planning Enforcement Officers.

Together, we will use our shared legal powers and different approaches to enforcement to more effectively deal with problems and improve the public’s sense of safety.
