Sports development

The Leisure Team work hard to ensure that there is a wide range of sporting opportunities and events available to young people and to promote local sports clubs and their achievements, throughout the year.

We collaborate with partner organisations to deliver the R&Be Active Programme.

During the spring, the Specsavers Surrey Youth Games provides opportunity for young people who often don’t have access to the sort of sporting opportunities that others take for granted to participate in activity, cumulating in a festival of sport alongside the 10 other Surrey boroughs and districts.
