Relocating your business to the borough
Even in these difficult times the council and it's partners are investing very significant sums to help ensure that the borough's commercial, educational and transport infrastructure meet the needs of our businesses.
Reigate and Banstead is open for business
With Gatwick Airport on the doorstep, excellent access to London Heathrow and quick train connections to London and the south coast, it is no surprise that many major international companies are already based in Reigate and Banstead. Canon, Kimberley Clark, AXA Insurance, Balfour Beatty and Pfizer are just a few of the companies already doing business in the borough.
The borough has a diverse business base of almost 6,000 VAT-registered firms, with particular strengths in:
- financial and business services
- public services and distribution
- hotels and catering.
Easy to work with us
Reigate and Banstead businesses find it easy to work with the Council. Our emphasis is on creating a commercial environment in which businesses can thrive.
We listen carefully to what the local business community has to say and work hard to understand its needs.
Quarterly meetings hosted by our business consultation network allow businesses to meet the Council and to network with one another.
Our ambitious plans for the regeneration of Redhill include the redevelopment of several key sites which will transform the town.
We are also investing heavily in the borough's other main commercial centre Horley. The town will be regenerated by making it the focus of high quality commercial, retail, community and residential developments.
Affordable office rentals
Office rentals in Redhill, and Reigate are amongst the most competitive in Surrey, with a good choice of Grade A and Grade B space currently available. More details about each of the towns can be found in the annual town centre monitors.
