This section provides information and advice about housing for the elderly. There are numerous properties in the Borough, either for rent or for sale, that are specifically for elderly people.
A number of organisations have properties in the Borough, either for rent or for sale, that are specifically for elderly people.
Some provide “sheltered” accommodation with a warden, others have accommodation designed or designated for the elderly but without a warden.
Most (but not all) of the homes specifically for elderly people have alarm systems linked to a central control room.
The following Registered Social Landlords have accommodation to rent for the elderly in the Borough.
In some instances you may need to be nominated by the Council to the organisation concerned.
