Continuing the Warwick tradition of organising a major science or technology themed evening lecture (open to everyone) here at school in the period before Christmas............

We are delighted to announce that Dr Kathryn Harkup, a chemist, great science communicator and good friend of The Warwick School will be returning to the school to deliver our 2017 Christmas Science Lecture which has the simple but sinister title of "Vampires".

Apart from it being a spooky but fun tour through the history of vampires with some frightening folklore tales including bloodsucking bats, there will be serious science revealed including about the composition and circulation of blood, respiration, inheritance, infectious diseases and the decay process! Just right for Christmas!!!!! Whilst it is science based, it is aimed at being suitable and enjoyable for all ages from primary student to adult. The lecture is free, everyone is welcome, there is no need to book, please just turn up. Parking is available on site. We look forward to welcoming you on the evening.
