Tandridge District Council's parking enforcement
This page explains why Reigate & Banstead Borough Council will now also be enforcing parking restrictions in Tandridge.
From 1 April 2011, we will be taking over the parking enforcement operation for Tandridge District Council.
Reigate & Banstead Borough Council will be responsible for enforcing parking across the whole of the Tandridge area. This will include all on-street parking and car parks.
Our officers will carry out duties in both areas. Penalty charge notices will have our details on.
Take over of parking enforcement in the Tandridge area
Surrey County Council recently reviewed on street parking across the whole of the county. As a result of this, Tandridge District Council agreed not to continue with their agency agreement to enforce parking on behalf of the County Council.
We have therefore been asked by Surrey County Council to extend our area of enforcement to include Tandridge.
How to pay for your penalty charge notice
All penalty charges issued before 1 April 2011 must be paid directly to Tandridge District Council. Any issued after this date must be paid directly to Reigate & Banstead Borough Council.
Can I pay my council tax at the same time as a parking fine?
We can only accept payment for a penalty charge notice issued in the Tandridge area. If you are a Tandridge resident, you must pay your council tax directly to Tandridge District Council.
