Economic Monitors
This section provides information about the Monitors which we produce to measure progress in key economic areas.
In order to apply some of our policies and to check whether or not they are working effectively the Borough Council produces monitors:
A publication produced by the Council, which provides a wide range of information on the housing, economy, environment and transport within the Borough.
Provides a list of all uses in the Borough's seven Areas for Small Businesses. It is produced annually.
The Commercial Commitments monitor contains the amounts, types and location of all commercial commitments i.e. premises with outstanding planning permissions or vacant floorspace. It is produced annually.
This monitor provides information on general housing market trends and the delivery of the amount, type and location of housing commitments in the Borough. It is produced annually.
The Industrial Estates monitor is a directory of all the occupiers in the Borough's nine main Industrial Estates. It is produced annually.
Provides information on retail provision in the Borough's eighteen local shopping centres. It is produced annually.
This monitors the occupiers, together with vacancies and shop type of all premises within the Borough's four Town and Village Centres. It is produced bi-annually.
This page allows you to download maps of the different policy areas that we monitor.
