What took place
European Parliamentary elections are held every five years, normally in June.
Elections were held on Thursday, 4 June 2009 and were combined with County Council elections.
List of nominations and candidates
The Returning Officer must receive nominations by no later than noon 12 working days before Election Day.
The nominations received will be available here before the next election.
The South East Region
The Reigate & Banstead Borough Council area forms part of the South-East Region for European Parliamentary Elections.
