Mayor's Volunteer Awards
This page is about an awards scheme which seeks to recognise and reward those who give their time as volunteers. This award was formerly known as the Mayor's Annual Community Award.
The awards seek to celebrate the role of the voluntary sector in serving the borough and its residents. They recognise and reward volunteers for their time, commitment in helping others and their continued dedication to serving their community.
The nominations for these awards are taken in any of the five following categories:
- Young volunteer (up to 25 yrs)
- Volunteer team
- Trustee (individual)
- Trustee team.
Nominate
To nominate someone you know for one of these awards, you can use our online form, you can print a pdf version of this form (PDF document [194.3Kb]) or if you have no access to a printer please email awards@rbcvs.org.uk and we will send a paper version. Nominations will be accepted until the closing date of Friday 7 June 2013.Ceremony in July
The 2013 awards ceremony will be held at the end of July.

The Mayor's Volunteer Awards were introduced in 2004 under their former name of The Mayor's Annual Community Awards. This annual scheme is organised by Reigate & Banstead Borough Council in partnership with Reigate and Banstead Voluntary Service.
