Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations in the borough
This page is about celebrating the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in the borough.
June 2012 marks the historic achievement of Her Majesty the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
We want to encourage local residents to come together and celebrate over the extended bank holiday weekend of 2 to 5 June.
We hope that the celebrations will bring out a real sense of local community spirit and we would like to help people organise their festivities across the borough.
We will have further information about the borough’s events here in the near future.
For details of other events throughout Surrey you can also go to the Surrey Lieutenancy website.
Organising a street party
If you are planning a street party, we want to help you ensure it goes well. You can find lots of useful information on our Organising a street party page, including how to apply for road closures.
Publicising your event
If you are planning an event and want to tell people about it, we can add it to our popular What’s on page.
To have your information included on the What’s on page, please fill in the Diamond Jubilee events listing e-form.
This form is not for event or road closure applications, it is to publicise your event only. You will need the street party form for event permissions.
