2008 consultations
We really appreciate all the feedback we get from residents on all the consultations we run, here is a summary of what has happened as a result of your views?
| Date of consultation | Name of Consultation | Actions - what difference has it made |
| July 2008 | Recycling Blueprint Consultation | 1,570 surveys completed, 85% of respondents felt that collecting more recycling from their household would encourage them to recycle more, many of the comments and suggestions from the postal survey and residents views from the focus groups have been incorporated into the Recycling Blueprint. |
| July 2008 | Parks Survey | A borough wide residents survey to understand the useage and comments about the parks within the borough. The survey highlights any maintance issues and helps inform the work schedules for the parks team. |
| October 2008 | Place Survey | The council are benchmarked both nationally and locally against the results of this survey. The area specific results, as well as the benchmarking, are taken to all the Directors. The Councillors get a breakdown of the results by ward. Residents perception of our services is taken very seriously and informs the way in which the council works. |
| July 2008 | Merstham Air Quality | No formal responses were recived to this consultation, although anecdotally residents have pointed out that it comes as no surprise that there is a pollution problem with road traffic. |
| March 2008 | Kingswood Warren Consultation | Residents were invited to comment on Draft Planning Brief, comments were included in a revised brief that went to the Planning Committee in September |
