Consultation on air quality around Gatwick
This section provides information on an air quality consultation which was run in the area of Horley near to Gatwick airport.
Consultation Overview
Reigate and Banstead Borough Council consulted residents who live in Horley and on the M23, to the south of the M25 on the following report:

Who consulted?
The Environmental Health Services, Reigate and Banstead Borough Council.
Why did we consult?
To keep people informed of what has happened since our last consultation in 2001.
This report will help inform the air quality action plan for Horley, which will detail measures to reduce concentrations of nitrogen dioxide in the Horley air quality management area.
Who was consulted?
The Council wrote to all 1,549 homes within the affected area, and also consulted with BAA Gatwick, DEFRA and surrounding Borough Councils and the Mayor of London.
Other residents were also welcome to comment on the report and these could be sent in writing to the Air Quality officer at the Council.
