2010 Consultation
We really appreciate all the feedback we get from residents, stakeholders and partner agencies on all the consultations we run, here is a summary of what has actually happened with your views.

| Nov 2010 | Corporate Plan Consultation | 210 responses received to the consultation, issues were addressed in a report taken to the Executive on 27 Jan 2011, and amendments were made to the plan to reflect some comments. |
| Oct 2010 | Employment Land Survey | All businesses were written to and we had 175 responses. Views used to update our polices on economic development and delivering of employment land. |
| Oct 2010 | Town Centre/Local Centre Survey | 495 residents were spoken to in the main town and village centres so that their views could be fed into the retail and leisure needs assessment. |
| Oct 2010 | Landlord Survey | 303 surveys were sent out to all landlords who are paid housing benefit. 10 responses were received. Issues raised were communicated through the landlord newsletter. |
| Oct 2010 | Resident Communication Survey | 123 Responses were received to the survey, both online and through helpshops and libraries. Information from the survey will be used to review how we communicate with our residents. |
| Sept 2010 | Lady Neville Consultation | 503 responses received to the survey. General opinion is that the play equipment is great for pre school children but more equipment for older children would make the play area suitable for a wider age group. Comments that the cafe is a great asset for the town. Results have been passed to Parks manager for action. |
| Sept 2010 | Reigate Heath Survey | 93 responses received to the survey, all responses have been passed to Land Management Services for consideration. Broadly respondents wanted to see natural habitats on the common maintained. |
| July 2010 | Priory Park Survey | 182 responses received, the majority of responses supported moving the sand and putting it in more contained areas. The majority of responses liked all the play equipment the two pieces which received the most comments were the rotating plate which was broken and the diggers which were felt to be too heavy. Priory Park manager will take actions forward. |
| May 2010 | Donyngs improvement plans | We received approx 294 responses to the consultation on the proposed plans: top issues raised were; to improve the squash courts, showers should not be open plan, more family changing facilities. All these comments have been passed to the design team for action. |
| April 2010 | Benefits Customer Journey | A postal survey was sent out to new claimants, 44 postal responses received. Any issues raised have been followed up by the benefits team. |
| March 2010 | Memorial Park Consultation | We received 278 responses to the survey, ideas proposed and put forward for councillor approval include: lighting the footpaths and games area, re siting the children's play area, opening Lynwood ditch to create a stream and creating a pensioners playground. |
| March 2010 | New Executive Arrangements | The public were asked to comment on proposals for a new executive arrangement of either Leader and cabinet or Directly elected Mayor and Cabinet. We had 36 online responses, 24 preferred the leader and executive model and 12 the directly elected mayor. |
| January 2010 | Waste Strategy (blueprint) | 4,000 responses were received and fed into the Waste Strategy, the strategy is being reviewed in conjunction with the Surrey County Council Eco Park. The strategy will go to Councillors in the Autumn 2010. We are working with residents of flats to develop tailored recycling solutions. |
| Early 2010 | Open Space and Allotment Survey (PPG17) | 1,189 responses received, the views have been fed into a report and will be used to inform future provision within the borough. Additional comments have also been fed to the parks team for action. |
