Council Licensing Policy
The council has published a Licensing Policy that promotes the four Government licensing objectives.
The licensing objectives are:
- the prevention of crime and disorder;
- public safety;
- the prevention of public nuisance and
- the protection of children from harm.
It also shows how the Council intends to carry out its Licensing function under this Law, and includes the principles by which applications will be considered for the next three years.
During this time the policy will be kept under review and revisions made as appropriate.
