This page provides information about becoming a private hire car operator including a downloadable form.
In order to operate a Private Hire Vehicle company in the Borough of Reigate and Banstead you must first apply for a licence from the Borough Council.
If you write, telephone or email the Borough Council's Environmental Health department they can send you a pack with all the information you need.
Your application should also include a Disclosure Application Form from the Criminal Records Bureau. Help on how to complete this form is available online, but you must write to, telephone or e-mail Environmental Health for a copy of the form itself.

Your application will include the application form, a medical form which your doctor must fill in and a form authorising the DVLA to reveal any previous offences.
It may also include if applicable a vehicle licence application form.
