In order to drive a taxi or private hire vehicle in the Borough of Reigate and Banstead you must first apply for a licence from us.
If you write, telephone or email the Council's Environmental Health department they can send you a pack with all the information you need.
This information is also available online.
There are various forms to fill in which you can download from this website. Your application should also include a Disclosure Application Form from the Criminal Records Bureau. Help on how to complete this form is available online, but you must write to, telephone or email Environmental Health for a copy of the form itself.

Your application will include the application form, a medical form which your doctor must fill in and a form authorising the DVLA to reveal any previous offences.
